Fernando Alonso is set to make a sensational return to Aston Martin after leaving Alpine. The two-time world champion will team up with Lance Stroll, replacing Sebastian Vettel who has announced his retirement at the end of the 2023 season.

AlphaTauri has promoted Nyck de Vries to their race lineup alongside Yuki Tsunoda. De Vries impressed as a substitute for Alex Albon at the Italian Grand Prix, scoring points on his debut. Logan Sargeant will become the first American driver in F1 since Alexander Rossi in 2015, joining Williams alongside Alexander Albon.

Oscar Piastri has finally secured a full-time seat in Formula 1, signing with McLaren alongside Lando Norris. The Australian will be eager to prove his worth after a year as Alpine's reserve driver. Pierre Gasly will move to Alpine, replacing Alonso and partnering with Esteban Ocon.
