Indiana Judge Rules Against Teen Mom Star

Portwood Says She Will Not Give Up

An Indiana judge has ruled that Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has lost custody of her son, James Glennon.

The ruling comes after a lengthy custody battle between Portwood and her ex-boyfriend, Andrew Glennon. In December 2021, Glennon filed for emergency custody of James, alleging that Portwood had been using drugs and had threatened to harm herself and her son.

Portwood has denied the allegations, but the judge ultimately ruled in Glennon's favor. Portwood will now have supervised visitation with James, and Glennon will have primary physical and sole legal custody.

Portwood has said that she will not give up and will continue to fight for custody of her son. She has also said that she believes her mental illness was used against her in the custody battle.
